Hello All!

My contract comes due in 4 weeks, 7/16 to be precise. When that happens, I'm going to re-up and get a new phone. I'm not interested in jumping ship from Sprint, so that eliminates a lot of other carriers phones.

I'm coming from a BB Tour, and before that 2 other blackberrys. I had to stick with that as I'm on the company BES, but they've loosened the reins a little and now we can get any android phone we want.

So, I have 4 weeks to decide what I want.

I've been reading the reviews on pretty much everything Sprint has to offer right now. Like most, my phone is my access to the outside world and I want to make sure I don't do something foolish. I have no home phone, and I use my BB for email several times a day. Given this small amount of background information, lets hear your opinions.

I'd like to have a touch screen, and the physical keyboard is nice but I could probably live without it.

Right now, looking at:
EVO3D
NEXUS S
?????

There's got to be more than just those 2, let your android knowledge flow!

Upgrades always fall on the first day of the month. And you can have Sprint override it 2 weeks early if you want.

EVO3D, Nexus S, and the Photon are your choices for top end phones. Of course, the Photon is still a month or two away.

Htc devices are poorly built at times and like any other phone with manufacturers skin are also bloated with bloatware.

The Photon looks good but it's motorla.

Go with the Nexus S

My sentiments exactly about HTC (reading the first batch of reviews is not promising) and Motorola (never liked their phones).

I wonder when Samsung will release its successor to the Epic 4G? Whether it has a keyboard or not, I really like the Super AMOLED Plus screen that comes on Samsung phones.

I'm going to be switching from a Palm Pre, and have been due for a new phone for several months now. Something is breaking on this phone almost every week, so I pretty much NEED a replacement ASAP. I may end up going with the HTC EVO 3D, but I'll need to read more reviews and actually play with it in store when it comes out 6/24.

Cheers.

I always thought Samsung made a better quality product in general, I wish we had some new ones coming that I could look forward to.

The Epic 4G's successor is the Galaxy S2, but I forgot what the Sprint version is called. I must be one of the only ones NOT hyped about the Evo 3D. Honestly, it looks no different than the current Evo. I don't care about 3D and the high specs won't me squat since the phone will be slowed by down by crapware.

But I know what you mean. Getting a Pre is like pouring salt into a wound everyday.
