Help me root my MT3G 3.5

i have tried following the unlockr video and can't even get past the adb phase. this is my first atempt at rooting a phone is there an easier method of getting cyaogen 5.0.7 on my phone? it's all i want for my bday.

can anyone help me? i walked into a tmob and they wont help! im using a gateway windows vista. the cmd doesn't reconize my phone. any suggestions?

Did you bother to check out the wiki page at cyanogenmod?

The instructions at the unlockr might be a little clearer. This is what I followed when I did mine. Only thing different is to grab the latest version of RA recovery, which is listed in the cyanogen wiki. The one listed in unlockr is older.
