Help Me Test Multitouch

Hi, I've discovered a possible problem with multitouch, and made a video about it here:

You can find the same problem using a multitouch tester.

What I want to see is if this is a widespread problem. So if you could do this quick test, I'd appreciate it.

STEPS:

1) Make sure your tablet is unplugged, and place it on a surface such as a table or bed.
2) Open the chrome browser and make sure you are in portrait orientation.
3) WITHOUT touching any part of the device except for the screen with your fingers, try to pinch zoom "vertically." By this, I mean that if you drew a line between your two fingers, it would be parallel to the longer side of the screen.

If yours is like mine, this will cause problems. Thanks!

And here we have another thread suggesting we look for a problem that otherwise wouldn't exist with normal use. SMH.

This problem does occur with normal use. Sometimes I'll be eating breakfast with the tablet on the table, and when I pinch to zoom and forget about needing to work around the multitouch issue, I'm greeted with erratic zooming instead. This will also affect things like piano apps and other apps that require you to lay the tablet flat while using multitouch.

Like the above poster said, it does occur during normal use. I actually discovered it during normal use, and was stumped for a while, thinking I had a programming bug in my application. If putting it on a bed for use while laying down isn't considered "normal use"... well... that's an issue.

It IS a problem, because I know that some people will encounter this issue while using an app I develop that is heavy on multitouch. And even though I can issue a warning, some will certainly fail to read it and start giving out negative reviews, thinking my program is the problem. And really, who would blame them, I would have thought the same thing.

I don't see this problem on mine.

Its either a Google issue or its a faulty digitizer in some of the tablets I'm using chrome on my aokp rom in a HTC desire but I don't encounter this issue so it could be a digitizer or some system bug ??
