Help me un-brick my nook color

I had autonooter 3.0 runnning just fine and I had installed clockwork recovery and backed it up with that and then rebooted the nook color. Once it shut off, nothing happened. It didn't turn back on. When I connect it to my computer, it says that windows does not recognize the device. The plug at the bottom of the nook is orange. I don't know if there is a sequence of buttons that I need to press or what, but it is not booting at all. No boot screen, no nothing. I do have a 16gb card available if needed. Please help. Thanks.

are you booting with autonooter still on the card?

It sounds as though your software has become corrupted. I recommend using your sd card to create a bootable version o CWR. Insert the card and hold down the power button until the screen flashes. This may take up to 20 seconds. Once CWR loads, select mounts and wipe system and data. Next, download the stock zip file, place it on your sd and select install zip from sd card in CWR. Reboot your nook. You're now back to stock and can reinstall 3.0.

My physical volume buttons are broke. I remved the plastic spider buttons, and still no luck in navigating clockworkmod recovery. I tried flashing phiremod Miui v2 onto my nook color from regular miui 1.8. And when it rebooted it just says Android_ at bottom of screen forever. Even all nite. Held n and power, booted to recovery with no luck of navigating.
Does anyone have any suggestions please? I'd hate to tell the wife I broke our nook.

Without the ability to navigate within CWR I am not sure that you can do much. The only thing I can suggest is to push the stock ROM via USB ADB, but I personally do not know how to do that. If successful you could then try and make a warranty claim if still under the 1 year warranty.

Looks like ADB is your only option. I would make a thread over at XDA. They know more about that stuff there.
