Help me unlock my bootloader

Can anyone please give me idiot proof directions as to how I could unlock the bootloader on my ROOTED One X?

Guess I thanked you too early. Htcdev doesn't support my device. It doesn't even support the International one X. Well, it's not listed as a supported device at least. I never specified I have the AT&T one X either.

You just click other devices. It does work I assure you. I unlocked my international one x following the steps on there

If you have the AT&T One X HTCDev won't work. It'll tell you that your device isn't supported.

Yeah it's pretty accepted by the community that AT&T is blocking this for the time being.

Kinda like Verizon and the locked bootloader on the SGSIII. <---just brought that up as an example, no need to continue talking about it.

Thanks for your help guys. I haven't tried it yet because I'm still learning more.

Is it true if I mess up unlocking the bootloader, I could potentially brick my phone? I haven't had the urge to flash a custom rom but at the same time, I don't know if it's worth the risk.

Is it worth the risk?
