Help me with my EVO 4G LTE

My evo's battery got low last night and I forgot to put it on the charger. Woke up this morning to plug in and charge and nothing. No lights at all coming on. Any suggestions of what I should do or what the problem could be?

sometimes they lock up. leave it on charge for an while and recheck it

hold the volume down and volume up button while then holding down the power button for about 8 seconds. It should blink 3 flashing lights at the bottom (soft keys). GL
