Help! My camera is acting crazy.

The camera on my phone starts randomly and takes pictures on its own.
I've contacted htc, I was told to wipe the cache partition, factory reset etc but it still happens.

Anyone else having this issue?
Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this issue?

My HTC EVO has been taking a random picture every month or so since I got it. I chalked it up to leaving it on in my pocket, until a couple weeks goe, when it started doing ALL KINDS of things on it's own. Calling people, quitting apps, undoing text... texting letters I don't type. And the buttons quit working a lot of the time too. Crazy. Makes it unusable. I have Sprint service, and do not have insurance. Bummer. I didn't get insurance, because the last phone I had insurance, and when I had a problem, they told me they had to take the phone for 5-7 days, and leave me without one. What kind of insurance is that? Anyway - so I don't have it on this phone. I guess I am just expected to buy new hardware every year. Ridiculous. I won't buy HTC again. ever.
