I have a Nexus 5, running 5.0.
About 30 minutes ago it stopped working*.
*I thought it went dead, screen went dead, couldn't power on/off, plugged in to charge with no change. I assumed it just died. Last time I used my phone(about 30 minutes ago) it had about 70% battery on it, so not sure what went wrong.
Then, now about 5 minutes ago I asked my buddy to call me on my Nexus 5 number, he said the call went to normal ringing, but the phone didn't vibrate nor the screen lit up. If the Nexus 5 were dead it should have gone directly to VM, so the phone is working but the display and/or vibration module(?) is not working, because my phone is always on silent/vibration mode.
So, I'm not sure what went wrong and how. It's dead but not dead, if that makes sense.
Any troubleshooting help would be appreciated since I'm without a phone now.
