HELP! Phone will not turn on or charge!

Hello,
I had put my phone to charge and when I came back to it 10 minutes later, it was off. I tried turning it back on but to no avail. The charging light will also not turn on. I cannot get into hboot or get my computer to recognize it. Please help!!

Try plugging into your pc, and not a wall outlet. Try a different wall outlet. Try a different USB Charging cable. Other than that, you'll need to contact HTC Support.

I have done all of that. I have contacted them and they said I would have to send it in. However, since my bootlader is unlocked, I don't know whether they will accept it or not

I had a similar problem the other day, different phone. If a soft reset, popping the battery out and back in, using different outlets doesn't change anything, try using a car charger. It seems to have more power to jump start the charging process of an absolute dead phone. Be warned, though, it worked and so does my phone, but I am currently working out my phones problem of not being able to charge with a wall charger at all now.

People have been successful with warranty claims having unlocked bootloaders. I'd send it in and see what happens.

The HTC One does not have a removable battery

Gotcha. I didn't know for sure, but my RAZR doesn't have a removable battery either. The car charger still got it to charge and turn on when nothing else would though. Hope it helps.

There’s a very better, easier and safer method i know to fix this.
(Only works on Samsung devices somehow))

Requirements:
A PC or Laptop
An MD5 File of the original firmware of your device
Odin app
USB
Download Samsung drivers

Okay.

1. Press and hold volume down and power button of your device
2. wait until the model name shows up
3. now DONT release any buttons. press and hold home button
4. When download mode shows up, release all buttons and press volume up
5. Open Up Odin and then connect USB to ur PC
6. Select AP or PDA button on the Odin window
7. find your MD5 File
8. wait for it to scan and then press start!
9. wait for everything to finish and now ur done!
