Help please

when I woke up this am my phone was off and I did not turn it off and would not turn back on (no it was not dead) I had to pull batt for it to come back on..I also have a few things not working now? my weather will not update removed it and can not even add cities??
Also should you not have some sort of way to know if phone is charged or charging if you have it powered all the way off?? led something??
Now when go in to system updates and try to check it says "check for updates not avail at this time?? HELP PLEASE

It says i have SWV 1.13.516.mb810.verizon

is that new one???? HELP PLEASE IS MY PHONE DEAD???

1.13.604 is the new one, and if the phone is off with the charger pluged in just hit the volume up bottom and it will give you the battery status on the screen,sorry cant help with the other issue.

Hey thanks for reply... you think it is because of the updates going out??? wonder why it wont give me the looking for updates and then it would say none avail at this time???

that could be the issue, but they dont send out 1,000,000 updates at once they send them out in batches to test the quality of them and to save band width so i guess just sit back and keep checking for it! sorry if not much help. i did find this for you in the sticky area.

Here's what we know:

Update 7/20/2010: The update has been pushed to 10,000 handsets. It will be pushed out to the remaining handsets on 7/21, barring no issues. If you have not received it yet, you were not one of the 10,000 people. Hang tight one more day.
