Hello guys.. Im plannin to buy an EVO 4G.. It wud be a big boost for me from Nokia N73.. But since it is 4G, but doubt is that since 4G is not available in India, will it work on 3G and 2G.. Pls confirm tat it can work on 2G especially.. Thanx in advance..

Hi Abiram,

I don't think the EVO will be the phone for you. It is a CDMA phone and I believe you need a GSM (I Googled the Nokia N73 and it is a GSM phone).

I believe that the top GSM android phone for you is the Motorola ATRIX or the HTC Inspire if you like a phone with a Sense based android experience.

I found this by looking at what AT&T has to offer because they are a GSM phone service in the U.S.

And if you decide to get the Evo it does work over 3G
