Ok so I'm in the beginning steps of rooting my phone. I did the walkthrough that unrevoked gives on their website. I go to the next step to boot the phone, but before I did that, I unplugged the phone from the computer. I hit the power button while on the HBOOT screen and it showed the HTC sign and then a black screen with a phone that looks like the eris with a red triangle and exclamation mark inside....I don't know what to do!!! Help please...I don't want a $500 paper weight...

Ok I have been trying to flash the radio 2.0.5 and everytime I get to click on recovery I get that image again. I need some help on this, I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

It doesn't sound to me like you're rooted.
But once you get the triangle, up volume and power takes you to the stock recovery.
He is already in recovery. He just needs to hit power and volume up to open the menu. And if he named his zip file update.zip tell it to install update.zip. Then he's done when it's done. Reboot and enjoy the 2.05 radio.
Qazme has it. You're seeing what you should be seeing. Just hold the UP Volume key while you press the power button.
