I'm on my third Moto Droid. On the first two I had a constant static in the background on all calls (made/received/land line/cell phone). Now, the third one also has the same issue, and for the last three days I have had no 3G and have been getting an average of one bar. I'm in SoCal and thought that the recent storms may have been to blame but tech support assured me earlier today that that was not the case.
I do love the phone but I can't deal with static in the background of every call. I do have a trouble ticket in but they have not found anything. I am debating on whether to try another Droid, the HTC Droid Eris, or go back to my old LG 8300 and wait for the Nexus One. My 30 days is up at the end of the month. I just don't know what to do.
Anyone else having similar issues? Thanks.
