Hey guys, so my DINC has been absolutely marvelous for the year I've had it running on CM7.2 but a week ago, it just randomly restarted and got itself into a boot loop.

The phone boots up and gets to the white Droid Incredible screen, and then turns off and repeats the process (almost indefinitely I assume, the longest I left it on like that was for half an hour after I got frustrated at it).

I CAN:
  1. Boot into HBOOT and flash PB31IMG.zips
  2. Go into fastboot and find the device in command prompt

I CANNOT:
  1. Use any other feature of HBOOT (e.g. Recovery, Clear Storage, Factory Reset) as these just induce the boot loop
  2. Erase any partition using fastboot because it gives me a remote access error
I've already tried to:
  1. Use multiple RUU's (Froyo Stock ROM, GB ROM, etc) to flash a new rom; they all flash properly but the phone just boots back into it's boot loop
  2. Flash ROMs via PB31IMG.zip but it only produces the same effect as the RUU
  3. Flash a new recovery image but again it only reboots back into the boot loop
  4. Flash ENG HBOOT .72 and somehow manage to get into fastboot blindfolded because I have a SLCD screen and tried to erase partitions , but it still gave me a status malformed error
  5. Try to get S-ON but I can't use unrevokved seeing as how I can't enter my recovery
  6. Take it back to TWO different Verizon stores only to have them say both times that my phone is busted and push me to look at new ones.

I've tried literally almost everything Google can throw at me, on two different batteries, and I'm at an end. Any help at all would be highly appreciated.

My GS2SR was doing this tried a new battery among other things turned out my sd card had gone bad. Inserting a new one fixed the problem instantly

Yozza! - I agree with santanzchild - Get a new SD card. Make sure you format it on your PC as FAT32 and try the PB31IMG Froyo image from here:
Stock Images | PvilleComp's

Be sure to check the MD5 before flashing. This should take you to Stock Froyo. From there you can re-root using Unrevoked.

I actually have a brand new SD card on hand, and I just formatted to FAT32, downloaded the PB31IMG, checked MD5 sum, flashed the image, and waited....

And it went back into a boot loop. :(

Nope, recovery is out of the question too, it just sends me back into the boot loop.
