I was getting an error with my camera app yesterday and decided to restart my phone to clean things up. The restart got stuck in a loop at the "Samsung galaxy Note 8"/"Powered by Android" screen. Luckily I was at the mall when this happened so I went to the Samsung store and they were able to reflash the phone for me. They said the phone looked OK and that they thought it was a bad app.

I relaoded some of my apps today and the issue is now happening again. I got the same camera error so instead of trying to just reboot the phone I initiated a factory wipe. However the phone refuses to start the wipe process. It is again looping at the "Samsung galaxy Note 8"/"Powered by Android" screen.

Not sure what to do now. I tried holding the volume down and power button, as well as the volume up + bixby + power button. Neither worked.

The battery will probably drain at some point tonight and I guess I'll have to go back to the mall again tomorrow. :-(

If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

Hmm. When I factory reset my original Note 8 after having issues, it went through jist that same screen literally probably 20 times before it finally came on (I wasn't touching it during that time). I ended up getting a replacement from Samsung through my carrier for the issues.
