Help!! took video but its staying in Camera folder

well, i took an 8gb sd card out of my fascinate, that i had before getting the phone. took a video on it prior to removing it and it went to the video file in the gallery.

now fastfoward to today after i downloaded the samsung drivers and copied everything from the 8gb card to my laptop(sony vaio) and then back to the fascinate on the 16gb card. now tonight i take another video same settings as the previous one and it goes into my camera folder in the gallery app and wont go to the video side.

then i try to upload to youtube via wifi and it took like 10times to finally get it to go through. and its only a 35 second clip.

Please advise on how I could get the videos to go where they are supposed to go. the video folder.

All my videos go into \DCIM\Camera. Why do you expect them to be saved elsewhere?

35 seconds doesn't really mean anything. How big is the video? Depending on resolution and other settings, a 35 second video can vary widely in size.

just seems weird things are going into the camera folder, vs going into the type of folder they are, like video or pictures.

i take the video on the third setting so not the highest res or the lowest basically right in the middle.
