Help: Tweets Have All Disappeared

I have been using HTC's Twitter application, Peep, for weeks without problems. Yesterday, however, all of my tweets suddenly disappeared, and whenever I go to the application, I get a message "No tweets" where the list of my tweets usually appears. I still even get notifications of new tweets (with little summaries in parentheses), but when I press on the notification and go to the Peep page, nothing is there but the same message that I have no tweets. Not even my old tweets from prior days are shown. I've refreshed, turned the phone and off, and reviewed the settings, but I can't figure out what's wrong. (The tweets show up on Twitter when I open it on my computer.)

Can anyone suggest what the problem -- better yet, the solution -- might be? Thanks.
