Help - VIRUS !!!

During sync, using the LG PC Suite on my PC, I was asked to upgrade the LG PC Suite software - and I confirmed. Unfortunately, following that my LG G3 smartphone probably got infected by a virus, as follows: the LG logo appears on a black screen (as if powering up) and then returns to the black screen and then again reappears and so on an so forth without ever powering up - in a never ending loop. Please HELP !!! I don't want to make a hard reset, as my stuff hasn't been backed up.

Welcome to Android Central! That sound more like a hardware problem or corrupt firmware, rather than a virus. Did the phone also get a system update?

Unfortunately, you may not have many options. The G3 doesn't allow the user to wipe the cache partition, and I don't think there's anything equivalent to Samsung's Odin program to try to reflash the firmware.
