help with a voicemail issue

I have a voicemail icon that will not go away its in notification bar and when you pull down it says i have 2 voicemails which i don't have any.i have checked both my carrier vm and google vm numerous times and neither have a vm. I tried going to a vzw store but their useless and i've searched forums and called* 611 but i can not figure it out.the only thing that works is a master reset but that's a pain in the balls to do all the time. I am rooted but this has been happening way before i was rooted and titanium backup does make a reset a lil easier but this has to be an issue. Thank you for listening to me rant and i hope someone has a fix i hate seeing that icon lol

Have you check the Visual Voicemail app?

I don't have that app on my phone atleast i can't find it i have just google voice and normal vm icons

Can't help you out there as I use GoogleVoice.

What happens when you pull down the notification bar and click the voicemails?

I too use gv but sometimes a vm will slip thru but if i pull down and click it shows 2 vm but when you click it it says no new vm

I hate to say it but the only thing that I can think of to do is a factory reset but it's such a PITA to re-setup homescreens. Apps shouldn't be a problem since you're rooted and you use Titanium so you may want to wait to see if anyone else chimes in but I'm at a loss.

ive done them before so its not a huge deal but as soon as another vm comes in BAM its back...im starting to get used to the icon but i shouldnt have to, thats what bothers me lol maybe ill just get a replacement
