Help with ads?

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but I've had trouble recently with ads popping up whenever I'm in normal apps like banking, clock, etc. These ads open as an App called "Advertisement" and if I open the app manager (which you can see in the screenshot I've attached) I can sometimes swipe it to close it but other times it won't go away. This has been happening for a couple weeks and having read online I've found that this is most likely being caused by a malicious app. The only problem is I have no idea which app it is. I've listed my apps by last date it was updated and the ones from a couple weeks again don't look very suspicious, in fact none of my apps look too suspicious. Any idea how I can go about finding which app is causing this advertisement app to open. Any input is appreciated.

It's probably adware related to some app you installed. It can be difficult to pinpoint which app is responsible -- you often just have to uninstall apps one by one until the problem goes away.

Right now I'm using the Android Central app and bought a year of "ad free" for $2.49. So far, so good. No ads!
