Help with ApeX 1.41 installation

I plan on going to put on a custom rom on my droid x, but im baffled at the instructions. If someone could personally help me i would be very grateful.

Perhaps you can start with your specific questions.

Personally, I found using ROM Manager a good place to start with a first time ROM install (mostly as a confidence booster). Now I just boot into recovery and flash the zip file.

its okay, now i just flashed rubix, but now im just wondering about overclocking the device. i dont really wanna post another thread, so could anyone help me here?
