I have a Tmobile account and I want to bring my girlfriend over to my plan, she's currently on her dad's plan with At&t with 6 or so months left in her contract as well as payments still left on her phone.
I was under the assumption, or just possibly miss-reading what is on Tmobile's website, but adding her to my account, instead of her getting her own account, negates Tmoible from paying any ETF's and left EIP's. The only way, from what I was just told is to have her open her own plan. That kinda defeats the purpose of bringing her onto my plan.
Ideally, just paying the ETF's of AT&T is what we were looking for since she was going to pay off the her current phone, and then pre-order the S10+ but if Tmobile won't pay off the ETF's since she's not opening her own plan, then it's honestly not worth it for her to even come over to Tmobile which stinks
Is this true? Or was I given incorrect information?
