HELP with Droid X

I have been a BB storm 2 user for the better part of 8 months and recently switched to the DRoid X. I have several issues with this phone.
1 .Cut/Paste where is it can someone help
2. Issues with correcting my contacts and when I press the back button it takes me to the beginning of my phone book. UGGGGGGGh Horrible.
3. E-mails When I turn my phone back on I do not get any notifications of emails unless something new is sent to me. Not good.
4. The music player. I have downloaded over 1500 songs and when I try to play an album with over 20 tracks, the player will go 1,10,20, 30 then switch to 11,12 so on HELP this is annoying.
Can I get some HELP

1. Where available, you long press and select "copy all" or paste.
2. Deal with it, and use search function (far right button)

I had an S2 for a while as well. Cut and paste:

Press and hold your finger on the text, and you'll get a selection for selecting text. At that point, the text you selected will be orange. You can slide your finger left and right to select more or less text. Once you have what you want, press and hold again IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SELECTED TEXT and choose copy. Same thing for pasting... press and hold- paste.

Contacts, e-mail, music- I don't know. Sorry.
