Help with Gear S2

I had to set up my watch and phone again. I decide to give "notes in gear" another try. Now in the notifications area the watch says: REMINDERS Get all the time and location based reminders on your wrist, so you never miss a thing. Reminders can be easily edited from your gear.
OK now i know that. There is no way to delete this from the watch. I have even deleted the app from my phone (the app also said this under Reminders) and restarted both watch and phone. Can anybody tell me how to get rid of this without doing yet ANOTHER hard reset?

I had the same issues on my Gear S2, the only way I could fix it was to do a soft reset and restore. It was a pain in the **** but had to be done. If you can figure out a way not to do it I would definitely like to know.
