After the september update from AT& T majority of my google apps keep crashing or will not open. Hangouts, Gmail, YouTube, Google Play, etc. If I restart my phone, my gmail might work for a minute or two, then crash. I have done a lot of searches but can't seem to figure out how to fix this issue. Any advice, guidance, suggestions, would be great! Thanks

Welcome to the G3 forum. 
Unless this is a specific AT&T issue and you get advice from others using that carrier, it may be worth trying a Factory Reset, hassle though that is. LG Backup And Restore makes it easier.
Before attempting that, try Settings, Storage, Cached Data, and clear the cache. You never know....that might fix it.
