Help with Outlook and Play Store

Hello!

I've had my Nexus 4 for ten days now. I upgraded from an iPhone 4 so this is my first Android phone. I have some difficulties with two things.

My problems:
1. I live in South Korea, but would like to access the US Play Store. My friend let me use his address and have made all the changes, but I'm still stuck to the Korean Play Store. I would like to change it to the US Play Store and not have to download a separate app to access it or download apps illegally. In addition, should I remove my card information and just buy US Play Store credits?
2. I use Outlook as my main email. I downloaded the Outlook app and while it's great, it only shows the last 30 days of email. I would like to use the native email app, but I can't seem to connect my account.

I didn't have these problems when I was using an iPhone and since it's my first Android phone, I don't really know much. Any help is very appreciated. Thank you in advance!

The play store will recognize your account by region as determined by GPS, then the location that your payment information is from and lastly from the country listed on the Google account.

I read a lot of users who were able to change it to the US Play Store successfully the proper way without having to be in the US and I also think it's doable, but haven't been successful yet. Thanks for the reply though.

You can use the Market Helper app to change your carrier to a US carrier. I don't know of any way to do what you need without an app. As far as Outlook, the app is probably showing you whatever is on the Exchange server. If not, there;s more than 1 app that can do Outlook - try some of them.

I'm a bit stubborn because I dislike using 3rd party apps. Anyway, I was able to connect to my account, but instead of having to use TLS, I had to use STARTTLS for the outgoing SMTP. Thanks for the advice though!

Can anyone help? I'm still stuck in the Korean Play Store even though I added a US address and debit card.
