Help with Rooting my phone please.

So after all this time I thought I would Root my phone but no luck. I have downloaded Unrevoked3, I have the phone set for USB Charge only and I have USB Debugging checked so I run the Reflash and all I get is Waiting for Devise. I have reinstalled the down load and still nothing and I am running this on the latest Mac sys. Anyways thats where I'm at for now.

I am not familier with Macs, so I can't help much. I would suggest first trying a new USB port on the computer, or going to a friends house and using a Windows pc.

Did you update the drivers on the phone?
I would also try rebooting your comp and phone. I think I did that once to get it to work. Make sure HTC Sync is not installed also.

You can't get HTC sync on a mac. There's something else going on. With unrevoked, its literally plug and play. You should be able to plug it in and follow the on screen prompts. I used it on my MAC and it worked fine, BUT I noticed my phone lacked some capabilities there should be with root. Some people it works great, others no.

I would bet you could follow the instructions for pc on your MAC. I personally wouldn't not use unrevoked. If you do, it sounds like you might be missing a step.
