Update.
Others may need this but I just remembered that I had installed Voodoo OTA Rootkeeper a while back. I ran the app and it restored root just fine. I am good to go!
For those who did not save their root settings in Voodoo OTA Rootkeeper you can simply follow the same steps you used to root your phone for the prior device firmware.
