help with sd card on htc hero sprint...

im trying to root my phone and when i open up the sd card on my pc there is nothing in it. it wont let me copy the universal androot apk file to it... it doenst even have the folders that came on the sd card when i got the phone??? help please??

Try taking it out of the phone and putting it in your computer with an adapter.
