Help with some basic settings

Ok, maybe I'm losing my mind but I just set up my RM after changing everything over from my X. I noticed that when I have my phone in the car and with the charging cable connected the screen will shut off after the 2 minute setting.
Where is the setting that tells the phone to keep the display on when connected to charger? I looked in all the usual places and I can't find it.
I don't use the moto cradle but would still like the display to stay on in the car.

Also, my X had a shortcut for manually turning on the cardock mode even though it wasn't in the dock. I can't find the shortcut for that but I know it's there because I can see the app in my applications list under settings. Anyone know where that is as well?

No, can I set one that just keeps screen on when charger is connected? I thought those were just for different times and locations?
Haven't looked at those yet because its a new feature to me.

It did get me to play around a bit with smart actions. This actually does away with a bedside app I have that sets up a whitelist of numbers that I allow to call me while I'm sleeping.
