help with tethering

I'm on a job ROM am rooted and unlocked I've tried several apps and the aren't working I've searched and had no luck but I wanna use NY gnex to power my nexus7

If the rom you have installed doesn't have hotspot tethering, I would download foxfi.

Most JB roms include a hotspot feature built-in. It's usually found under settings > more...

Having multiple tethering apps might cause an issue where you can't connect with any of them. Try the native app without any of the others installed.
