Hello,
I have searched high and low for an answer that works and so far have been unsuccessful. I have an HTC EVO 4G running 2.3.3 and am having some serious problems connecting to WiFi and my local gym. First, let me start by saying WiFi works fine at home, never had a problem. At the gym it constantly says it is trying to obtain the IP address, but never does. We have tried resetting the router, unplugging the power, and neither has worked. I honestly don't know what to do next. The kicker of it all is that there are a few members with iphones and they can connect with no issue at all. It is a cisco router. I appreciate any help that can be offered.

Thank you

Reset the IP address. Do this with unplugging the modem not just the router.

Have you tried forgetting that wireless network? It can help especially if there is a password. Other than that I would try unplugging the modem like dumped said.

Thank you for the responses. I will unplug the modem and see if that does anything. I'll keep you posted.
