Hello everyone I have a problem that im hoping one of you smart people can solve.

So, in the process of trying to flash CyanogenMod onto my phone I wiped cache and reset my phone to factory settings, yes of course without backing it up. I know I am a ***** yes, because rooting a phone which i did provides the benefit to back your stuff up so if something stupid happens like me wiping everything then it's somewhere else to be obtained. The apps aren't my primary concern and thankfully Google backed up my photos so those aren't anything to worry about. But, my main problem is to be concerned with re-obtaining my contacts and possibly messages. I have always had sync on so correct me if I am incorrect but my contacts should have resynced when I signed into my Gmail account on my phone right? My whole SIM is basically wiped and I can't find any of my contacts and asking the 150+ ppl for their phone number again is a hassle. Please someone help is there anyway to retrieve my data like some cloud tucked away somewhere I am unaware of or is there some method of retrieving my contacts through my service provider? My sanity is hanging by a thread so if anyone could help me out it'd be much obliged. Thank you all for taking the time to read and have a good day :)

your contacts should have been stored in Google. Strange that they disappeared.

Try wiping all again and reflashing to see if they will come back

Well ill try that as a last resort because i dont really want to go through the whole restoring process again but when i log onto gmail onto my computer and i goto the left where it says contacts there's none there.

If you had your contacts stored on the Sim then Google would not have access to back them up.

Well my whole SIM got wiped. i went to the ATT store today and luckily they restored a lofty amount of my contacts from an old SD card but for future reference how do i backup my data to google?
