Help!!!

ok, so I am new to the android platform, but I firgured out to root my phone which worked well, but I didn't want it anymore, so i uninstalled it by downgrading my OS to 2.1. Well now I can't seem to get the OTA for froyo....Is there anything I can do to fix this, or return the phone to stock with 2.2 on it?

I have tried to get it to work but I can't get the files to work in recovery.
