Okay So i am New To The whole Android Phone thing and am trying to figure out everything before i attempt to root my lg optius s i was going to use gingerbreak v1.2.apk to do it but i have no internet connection outside my phone with easy tether so i was wondering if this would do it all for me or if there is some stuff i need to have before i use this

I think there are Optimus S sub-forums that should have all the info you may need for rooting. Sorry i'm not more help!
