A little soon for my US T-Mobile S10 version. Looks like not much of an update for us S10 series owners, but a little excited anyway.

This 2.5 ui comes with a lot of stuff can't wait hopefully a little design change as well.

Really? I guess I must have missed something. Read some stuff about camera video pro features and stuff.

I've been tracking this too and looking forward to it.
For me, the S10+ remains an awesome device. I've had no interest in moving to another device - not even the smallest itch. So, getting a significant UX update just continues this trend for me.

I agree. This S10 hardware has been and will be good for a long time.

I want to share here that for years, I was a "pure android" fanatic. I am a UX person with 40 years experience, and the minimalist design approach Google has implemented is particularly attractive for me. I've owned many "pure android" devices, such as Nexus and Pixel phones.

Still, I come back to Samsung over and over again, even though that sounds like total UX design heresy among my brethren.

I find Samsung's One UI to elegant, practical and smart. Words that are almost never associated with anything Samsung does on the UX front over the years.

I, for one, am looking forward to One UI 2.5 on my S10+!

per the article:

According to the folks at SamMobile, the One UI 2.5 update brings Wireless DeX, an improved Pro Video mode, support for Bitmoji stickers on Always On Display, the ability to search for YouTube videos in the Samsung keyboard app, an easier way to share Wi-Fi credentials, pre-configuration for SOS messages, and a few other enhancements.

yawn. In other words, nothing of any consequence.

You know, I've been feeling the same way. Yes, I love seeing new phones launch and will certainly look at the Pixel 4a and 5, but I really don't see myself upgrading anytime soon. I actually love Samsung's UI way more than I thought I would.

I just checked me and my husband both had the September security patch update but we're still on UI 2.1. I thought we were supposed to get 2.5 with the September security update?

Same here. Just got September security patch this morning, but still on UI2.1. U. S. unlocked.

Do you use Windows 10? I don't, but if I did, I would be all over My Phone instead of Dex.
I do have a very very old Win 10 PC and the Your app phone barely installed on it. I can connect my S10+ to it but although it sends texts and shows what is there when it loads, it doesn't update for me. I can't screen mirror either. Dex on the PC is also sketchy. But I only need it for burning cds and dvds and a few windows only programmes. I use a Pixelbook or Samsung Dex using a mobile monitor, keyboard and mouse. I love Dex cos I can use my android apps and they work better than the apps on pixelbook. So again, I am looking forward to wireless Dex.

My S10+ (UK) got both the September patch and OneUI 2.5 this morning. Shame my S20U is still on the August Patch.

Using my S10+ at the mo as the focus on the cameras on the S20U is still bad. I'm jealous of others saying how the focus is now much better on their S20s so why not mine?? IMO the camera on last years phone is so much better than on this years...

Wow, that must have been an exciting morning for you! Glad you got the September update and the OneUI 2.5 update, too! How are you liking the new UI thus far?
