So when I had my thunderbolt I was a flashaholic. I'd sometimes flash several Roms per day. I told myself when I got my note 2 in Feb I wasn't even gonna root. Well last nite I rooted my phone just so that if a future ota makes root impossible is already be rooted. My plan was to stay stock but now only about 12 hrs later I find myself looking to flash Roms.

I rooted mine as soon as root became available, there was no reason for me not to do it, but there were plenty of reasons for me to do it.
My main reason for rooting is busybox, I like the Unix command line, second is titanium backup.

I have flashed many different ROMs. Beans, clean, eclipse, rootbox, carbon, liquid, goodness, and a few others.

Have fun.

I think flashing is an addiction! I usually root a new device as soon as it comes out of the box.

I just flashed liquid 4.2.2. I liked it a lot but it sucked up 10% of battery in about 40 min. I'm back to stock now till I find out whether I need a new kernel to go with liquid
