Because i learned my family and I (3 lines, 2 regular phones, and one smartphone) after being loyal to Verizon from the start, could save alot of money by switching to sprint and opting to get the simply everything plan and adding a line, i went for it, payed the ETF, and left w/o looking back. Apparently, having 3 smart phones with sprint costs almost as much as having one smartphone and 2 regular phones on the big red.

I HATED Verizon's business structure. Every part of it. they will do anything to make you a customer, and once you are, they don't treat you like one...you're just a number. I was satisfied with the coverage the first week, but it got worse, and worse, until i realized i made a mistake, and i would roam in places VERY close to home that i remember never having the slightest problem when i was with Verizon. I am well within my "test Drive" of sprints service, i still have about 2 weeks to cancel if i'm not satisfied. Then, i check my home phone, and guess what? 3 calls within 2 days from the big re themselves, asking what it'll take to bring me back, and that they have "special offers" for me and my family. I laughed because its almost like an abusive relationship; they don't care until you're gone, then they beg you do come back. So i'm going to see what they offer me. My counteroffer is for them to match what i have with sprint. 3 Smart phones for the same price, or slightly more. I hate having the feeling of being played by a company, but it all goes back to the monthly cost of things, and getting the best deal, i'm going to call tomorrow, so ill keep you guys posted :)

Just remember that when you're roaming with your sprint phones, ANY calls you make will be billed against your anytime minutes (even if they are to other sprint lines on your account)

They also have strict limits for how much data and voice (if you're not on the unlimited anytime minute plan) you can use in a month without them terminating your countract.

Sprint is a GREAT value for a lot of people. Their coverage, where it exists, is usually very good, and their prices are unbeatable (unless you look at regional carriers/tmobile) But there is a tradeoff. I'm not defending Verizon's prices, but there is a reason they can get away with charging more than sprint. They won't see a need to drop their prices until some other company gives them competition (like the ATT tmobile deal)

i have the simply everything family plan with 3 lines (one added) and he guy gave me a whole rundown of what i can do and what ill be billed more for if i choose to do.

I understand, but i gave them try and i'm sure it is but it is very subjective to the location/ traveling habits of the subscriber. i'm going back to VZW cause they offered to forgive the ETAs,free new upgrades, data will only cost 20 dollars instead of 30 dollars per month for the first year, and a higher voice and text plan for the cost of a lower tier one. its a GOOD deal, and i'm still within my trial period on sprint, so tomorrow i plan to return my phones and cancel the contract and move back to VZW. I really hear what you're saying though about charging more cause they can...they have always been the ones to charge more, and make more, then charge less but still make alot so it seems like its a "great deal". they have excellent service though, and im sure sprint does in many other locations, just not on Long Island.

VZW is not for everyone and Sprint is not for everyone. There is not one carrier that is good for everyone. Some are better then others.

I have never had any coverage issues with VZW ever and I travel all over the place. Also their CS has been good to me. Be nice to them and they will be good to you and this isn't VZW, this is for all CS you call.
