Pretty much same thing as every phone, to damn high, no IR, no red color option, and not worth upgrading if you have previous version unless you're the one that has to have the newest and greatest which is true for every release. The end he kind of contradicts that statement saying it's worth upgrading.

You get the it's a major major major major go and it's the king phone out there now. That will change when the s23 releases.

Over all, he called it pretty good. I am very impressed with the fold 4 display and I know some want bigger front screens, but the fold 4 front screen is very usable, I find myself using it more then the fold 2 or 3.

re: Here's the flossy "real" review

Flossy wants all the bells and whistles lol.

If it was up to Flossy we will have everything included in the box, tons of dongles, charger, headphones, case, s-pen pro. In addition to the box… he wants a nice presentation as well.

But I think Samsung approach is leaning on having a Oppo Find N design (Google is copying). By making the outer display slightly shorter and slightly wider leads me to believe that.

These reviewers are looking at the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 and the Vivo X Fold, but I don’t care to have a large phone. I think it’s important to have a one handed device on the outer display then unfold to have a two handed device.

What’s the point in having a larger outer display when a user have to use two hands to interact with it. As long as Samsung widens the outer display to make it much more usable… then that’s a win in my book.

Couldn't agree with you more.

re: Here's the flossy "real" review

Flossy after reviewed many fold phones ...like OPPO, mix fold 2 and vivo folds, he still saying Fold 4 is the best fold phone in the world...
Iam a 1st time fold phone buyer...
I believe that if outer screen becomes bigger phone will become wider and one had purpose will be gone and using inner display will become less...I think samsung say the sweet spot with it's size and weight

I agree. I think Samsung found the sweet spot for screen size on fold 4. The fold phone is a dual phone, one hand use and 2 hands use

re: Here's the flossy "real" review

Who still cares about IR blaster except this guy?

re: Here's the flossy "real" review

It's funny that he won't let the ir blaster go. I myself loved having one as well, but after years of not having one and also having multiple apps that achieve what I need. Small inconvenience? Sure. Enough for me to worry about? No. I much rather them bring back MST. Now that's something I miss daily lol. Also I fully get his comment on not needing to upgrade from the fold 3 as it's true. Hell if I only upgraded phones when I needed to I wound still be using a 4 year old phone. Maybe 4 years is an exaggeration, but definitely a phone from 2 years ago. Crazy to think that the note 20 actually came out 2 years ago and yet when put next to the S22 U it seems like like a fraternal twin lol.

re: Here's the flossy "real" review

Or the presentation of the box.
I did think he was nit picking on that especially considering the substantial price drop between the fold 2 and the fold 4 not to mention ground breaking features added. No matter how much people bash Samsung for the price of the foldables you can tell that they're working on getting the price down. We all know 1st adapters pay a premium in the tech world. 4k tv's were no different when first released.

Nobody needs to upgrade a phone every year. It doesn't matter if it's the fold, S Series, iphones. I can say right now that if you have a S22U it is not worth it to upgrade to the S23U. Reviewers really need to stop saying it's not worth upgrading from last year's model on phones, they are right, we already know that. The ones that upgrade every year, every 6 months for some, do it because they want the newest, and will anyway. For me, until Samsung takes the good trade in's and promos away I'll probably upgrade every year. It cost me $360 this year to upgrade to the fold 4, $250 last year for the fold 2 just for trading in phones I don't use anymore plus I received free items and $400 in free credits. I won't upgrade every year at $1,800 price tag though.

And I agree him and his IR blaster, I think he's the only one that wants that.

re: Here's the flossy "real" review

I agree ir blaster is handy in certain situations
For once it was hot summer day and my Ac remote stopped working and it was covid lock down and all shops were shut..
It helped me switch my Ac on
I have 300 dollar redmi phone at home as backup phone which I use,as now my Note 20 is gone for repair redmi is coming handy as my work phone replacement

I am going to be that person... You couldn't walk over to the AC to turn it on. Just giving you a hard time this lazy Sunday.

re: Here's the flossy "real" review

If they included a IR blaster you wouldn't see me questioning it lol

re: Here's the flossy "real" review

So now I'm curious......anyone know the last Samsung phone to have the ir blaster?

Wondering how long floss has been complaining about this. Kinda like MKBHD constantly mentioning the headphone jack missing...

Here the list. It's been awhile. Flossy complains about the no headphones jack also, says Samsung should include the dongle

problem was, it was a split ac and would only come on with a remote...even if I try on and off from the main power

I think they should include the dongle , like my Flip 4 came with a cable and no charging brick
What did they think ? I have enough charging bricks but not cable's

I see your point, but most that want to use those already have them. Charging brick everyone uses, so those should be included for sure.
