Hesitant to upgrade to Lollipop

I am on verizon and I have the newest lollipop update. I want to upgrade but I really like what I have now. Aside from the issues associated with recent upgrades, overheating, needing to do a system restore etc, does anyone regret upgrading? I recall with the initial update, notifications were an issue, is that still and issue w new version, can someone post a screen shoot? THANKS

My roommate has the newest update on her S5 as of last night...seems great...no complaints. I just now updated my Note 4 to 5.0.1..
