Just wanted to stop in and say what's up. I'm a new android user after 4 years of iOS loyalty. I've tried Android once before for a few weeks (Samsung captivate) and it didn't work out. I've also tried webos which I am a huge fan of...unfortunately its all but dead.

Anyways, just got my registration all done and after a few weeks of browsing these forums daily I've decided to start posting.

Welcome to the club. I'm in a similar boat, having been loyal to BB, then iOS, and now the GN has won me over to the Android camp.

I feel more and more like I'm carrying a minicomputer, not a phone.

Let's have some fun!

Welcome! I came from being with BlackBerry. Until I found out about the Galaxy Nexus some how. Wanted it so bad, finally got it. Couldn't be happier!

I feel the exact same about it.

Welcome to Android and the Galaxy Nexus. I was a loyal iOS user from day 1 until the ill fated iPhone 4s announcement. I wanted a larger screen so bad that I started looking outside of the iOS world. Eventually, all paths led to the GNex and I've been a happy Android user since December. I couldn't be happier with my GNex and can't imagine ever going back to iOS.

I'm feeling the same as both y'all above this post. This is the first time I haven't missed my 9700 in some way. I would like a physical keyboard, but I'm not willing to give up the screen real estate or bulk of the device to do so.

How else would I fit on my 3800mAh battery? ;)

Welcome! I've found that once you get settled in on how Android works, you never want to leave it. Don't hesitate to jump on youtube to watch some how to videos. They are very helpful. You can find them for many apps that you might want to try.

I have been through various versions of ios as well as the all generations of android. Until ICS i always thought the iphone superior in every way. Now, I could never ever give up my galazy nexus. I gave my iphone4 away. This is a great phone and the android is just as good and smooth as ios. Plus, I get a bigger screen and LTE on the verizon network. :D
