hello everyone. im a new android owner im a bit excited although its only an optimus s for sprint running 2.2.2 and sw version LS670ZVD. not sure what it all means. but id like to learn more about it..and id like to root to use the phones full potential. if any. im coming from a palm pre, i had that one hacked and i liked it. i even had wifi hotspot. id like to do that with my new phone. so im here to learn. my old forums was precentral.net and that place was good. this place is similar to it from what ive been told. so point me in the right direction people! and thanks for reading.

Rooting is a tricky process - before trying to do it, be informed that it's more technical that getting "Preware on your PalmPre".

There are several links and videos on how to do this. Each phone has its different ways of rooting. I'm sure someone with will gladly assist you.

thanks. i hope its not too hard. it took me some time to do it with my pre. i guess its a matter of time i get it on my optimus.
