I highly doubt it. It is beyond the End of Life, and has already seen 2 major updates to the OS; more than a lot of other devices can say.

Custom ROMs, yes. The way I read your question was stock ROMs going to 4.2.

You would need in order: root access, a custom recovery, and finally a ROM to flash.

Several things to consider:
1. Study up on each procedure. Take notes.
2. See if there are any instructional videos on how to to these things. Videos are a better tool than posts on a forum. Try GalaxyS2Root.com - Your Source for Galaxy S2 root, roms, and more tips! Before doing anything, always, always make sure the procedure is for your device model number. If they don't match, don't do it, or email developer. Model number can be found by Settings>About Device
3. As for custom recoveries, go with either Clockwork Mod or TWRP.
4. Always make a backup of your current ROM.
