Newbie and noob here on this forum. I was using Note 3 for about 5 years. Just signed this forum and maybe want to get some idea to get a new phone. 5 years ago, the flagship phone from Samsung seem not too expensive (i mean still expensive for people that cannot afford it) But if i compare with todays phone, the flagship are really quite expensive.

Nowadays, beside Samsung, there is an alternative choice like Huawei, Oppo, Xiaomi, etc. Just want to read some feedback or any experience by previous user.

Welcome. :)

There's a wide choice of devices out there, including some surprisingly good inexpensive ones now.

Welcome to Android Central! What kind of features are you looking for in a new phone? The device lines you mentioned are great - have you also considered Motorola or OnePlus?

Hi thanks for all of your welcome, I have been Samsung fans for so many years, but right now, with the rise of great Huawei phone, it would be my next phone..

Something like dual camera.. but not too expensive but still impressive output pictures.. Honor or Mi A1 seem look goods, but do not read the review yet

Hello and welcome to the forums at Android Central!

Choosing a phone depends on so many things.
Your budget, preference for a brand, features, etc.
And after all that and more, you may still have to compromise.
It's never easy because there are many options.
Good luck!

I am on really a tight budget right now, but if something happens to my phone (which is now 50-50 condition due to battery issues) then i need to change it very urgently, i only got $300 allocated for the phone, but if need more power phone or flagship like, then maybe need to save more for a few month.

One thing that i like maybe the phone can be tally very well with android fitness tracker.

You can find some good phones for $300 dollars out there.
But yes, if you want a flagship, you'll need mo money mo money.
