Share your stores of others noticing your phone. Do they say they like it or don't like it.

This always happens with my gear 2 watch. I can omly imagine it will be 100x worse once the iwatch is released.

Too late. I had someone ask me a week ago if my Moto 360 was an Apple Watch. They look dumbfounded when I say that I've actually had it since September and the Moto 360 was announced and released before the Apple Watch was announced. That was a concept they couldn't even fathom.

As for my Note Edge, I did have someone think it was an iPhone 6 Plus even after they saw the Edge display. They thought it was a special case or something, who knows really. I'm used to it though. At this point peoples' perceptions of products revolve around what they are familiar with. Just like back in early 2000's, everyone called portable mp3 players "iPods" whether they were iPods or not. Just like in 2010-2012, everyone called tablets "iPads" whether they were made by Apple or not. I still get looks of confusion with my Surface Pro 2, people ask if it's an old iPad.

Have you run into a note 4 user that didn't know their was an edge? I did at the office, he thought it was a newer version

@yostevo: I know, people are silly. Somehow there are some people who use "iPhone" as a generic term for any smartphone. Kind of how all facial tissue is often referred to as "kleenex" regardless of brand. It's annoying.
Although it might be funny to start asking iPhone users "is that an android?" & when they say it's an iPhone, just look sad & say "oh, too bad" & walk away.

Inside the Capitol One bank the teller saw me playing on Facebook. With perfect timing a text notification came in, lighting up the Edge Panel followed by a call that I quickly dismissed.

He was so stuck in awe that I never had to leave nor was FB interrupted. I slid the phone under the glass to let him play with it and all the tellers and the branch manager huddled around him while I instructed him from behind the glass on how to use the phone lol. It was funny but weird at the same time.

Posted Via Galaxy Note Edge. Yea, the phone is perfect...

Walked into a Best Buy Mobile in the mall and they were like "What phone do you have there?" So I told them the note edge, they were kinda like "oh coo- wait what??" They said they'd only seen a few haha. Guess it's a bit more exclusive than I thought!
