I'm looking for a MOD that has no issue doesn't have to be the latest but better then what I have, I'm running 2.2.2 on my LG Phoenix. any ideas also my super user is not updating will that be an issue when trying to update to a dif MOD?

You should update to the latest Official LG Phoenix ROM: 2.3.4

not sure how to do that, i was just trying to load CM7 and when trying to boot in recovery it just go's to a black screen and just sits there. not sure what to do.

Locate a recovery for your device. Download to pc. There is one posted in the CM10 thread. Then go to the "Android Flash Recovery" thread, if youre on a pc, click the link in my signature. Download AFR, its my app. Check out the README.txt in the downloaded archive for details. This tool requires your device to be in fast boot mode. Power off device. Press Power+Vol down+Home and hold until you see a screen that starts with "Fast boot mode started". Now you're ready to use AFR. Cheers.

Black screen for recovery is cuz you chose wrong
Version in rom manager. Choose optimus one (p500) OBB
Or choose one of the custom one's here and use ^above's^ tool if you comp savy.
