Just bought a Galaxy 2 a couple of weeks back and have had all sorts of probs with it, things not working in general and more specifically, an absolutely useless battery life. I confess right away that I've joined this forum to try and gain a bit of info about which phone to go for now - Phones4U have been brilliant over my problems and I'm able to change my handset for something different.
Don't really know which bit to post this is, so I'll put it here and hope that its ok! I just wondered if anyone can point me to a topic on here that gives info on battery life for these awesome phones when they're being used for real, in an everyday business environment, calling texting surfing and emailing, I don't do games, videos or music on my phone. I do lot of motorbiking, camping in the wild (ie no places to charge phones) and so I need my phone for keeping in touch with work and home on a daily basis while I'm away. I also work in deprived areas and like to have a phone in my pocket for personal safety - I found the S2 had to be left on charge in the car so that I could use the GPS, which zapped the battery really quickly.
Looking forward to having a browse round - please don't suggest an iPhone or Blackberry as they're the two I can't have on my particular contract!!
