So I'm a long time Android fan and Linux/Unix user.

I recently purchased an inexpensive Xiaomi to start getting to know Android better.

I have an S8+ which I love, but I wanted something I could customize more and really start to dive into Android.

Right now I'm a bit stuck but I'll start searching for help first
