Just joined up. Am a proud owner of a Sprint Galaxy SII and love it. Had a G1 (Yep, the original Android phone!) for almost four years, but by the time I gave it up it was clearly outdated. I feel a strong commitment to Android mostly because it is open-source. I never have considered an iphone, a blackberry, or worse a windows phone. (Shudder.)

Anyway, I am reasonably savvy about things high-tech, but only as a user. I am by no means anyone's guru. Hope to learn a little bit here and maybe even help someone out. That's what it's all about, isn't it?
