Hi, I cant figure out why my T95Z Android TV Streaming box is offering me Apps designed for phones

[Android Central Question]

I have another brand box that set up perfectly with the same apps, however with the T95Z that I received yesterday the apps in the Google Play store all seem to be those designed for phones. Is there a setting that I may have chosen that makes it think this, or could it be that this box has the mobile OS instead of TV OS. Is there a way to check? All I can tell is it is running version 7.1.2 Thanks.
